Terms of Use

Please read these terms carefully before using DevDock.

Last updated: September 29, 2026

1. Agreement

By accessing or using https://getdevdock.com (the “Site”) and any tools, pages, or content we provide (collectively, “DevDock”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. What DevDock provides

DevDock offers free, browser-based developer and digital utility tools and related informational content. Tools are provided for convenience and general technical use. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time.

3. License to use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

  • Copy, scrape, mirror, or resell the Site as a competing service
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the Site
  • Use automated systems in a way that harms Site availability
  • Misrepresent your affiliation with DevDock
  • Use the Site for unlawful purposes

4. No account required

You can use DevDock tools without creating an account. If we later add optional account features, additional terms may apply to those features.

5. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • How you use tool outputs in your projects and systems
  • Not submitting illegal content or content you do not have the right to process
  • Avoiding use of tools as your only control for critical security, compliance, or production decisions without independent verification
  • Keeping sensitive secrets out of browser tools when that risk is unacceptable for your threat model

6. Accuracy and “as is” service

We work to keep tools and content accurate and useful, but DevDock is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Tool results may contain errors. Always verify critical outputs independently before relying on them in production systems.

7. Advertising and affiliate links

The Site may display advertisements and may include affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Advertising partners may use their own technologies as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The DevDock name, logo, site design, and original content are owned by us or our licensors. You may not use our branding in a way that suggests endorsement without permission.

Tool output you generate from your own input remains yours, subject to the rights in that input and applicable law.

9. Third-party services

The Site may link to third-party websites or load third-party scripts (for example hosting, analytics, or advertising). We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DevDock and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the Site or inability to use the Site.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100) or the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify DevDock and its operators from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
