How do I add sales tax to a price?
Choose Add tax, enter the price before tax and the tax percent. You get the tax amount and the total due.
How do I find the pre-tax price?
Choose Tax included, enter the price that already includes tax and the rate. The tool backs out the pre-tax amount and the tax portion.
Does this use my state or country tax table?
No. You enter the rate yourself. There is no location lookup — just the percent math for the rate you know.
Are my numbers uploaded?
No. All math runs in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
Is this the same as a tip calculator?
